Second Division

Cetinkaya Cinar 3 Apoel 0

Cetinkaya Cinar continue to improve game by game and Sunday was no exception as pace and stubborn defending outwitted the determined Komi team. They took the lead on 18 minutes from a long goal kick by keeper Allan Buck over the Komi defence to Mark Summers who ran on beat and the Komi keeper with a superb shot. With 37 minutes gone, Komi were awarded a penalty which was saved by the Cinar keeper.

The game came alive in the second half at 59 minutes with the tricky Daniel Florence curling a low shot for 2-0. Komi now pushed hard to come back into the game but on 66 minutes a Huseyin Yildiz pass to Summers, ensured the 3 points as he managed to find the net and his brace and thats 4 goals in 2 games. The Cinar revival continues.

Asha 4 Pantel 4

It all started in a fast pace manner, box to box but it was Asha that took the lead in 10 minutes through Jamial.

Asha Fc went further ahead on 20 minutes through Dimitris Hitra after a mix up in the Pantel defence.

Chris Spyrou scored the third on 27 minutes when he lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper to put Asha Fc in a comfortable 3-0 lead.

Asha somehow put the brakes on their flowing football and Pantel came back into the game by allowing them to score on 35 minutes with Dan Moyses and 40 minutes consecutively with Chris Philippou.

The half finished at 2-3 .

Asha Fc had the misfortune to lose 3 players through Injury but started the second half again on the attack and went further ahead, once again through Chris Spyrou after another mix up in the Pantel defence.

Pantel were always dangerous and aware that Asha FC leak goals and didn't give up.

They kept throwing high balls into the Asha box and kept pushing forward with more desire and eventually got their rewards by scoring twice, with Nick Jacovides and Dan Dan Moyses and eventually the final score 4-4.

Achna 3 Komi Kebir 0

Komi Kebir really need to pick themselves up in the last month they have lost several games but because the teams just below them are losing too that they have been able to keep second spot.

Achna in comparison have had a good month and a good few wins their goals came from Theokli Charalambous, Chris Petrou and Lenos Christodoulou.
