New Salamis on their way to Crystal Palace for the FA Cup Final

We appeal to the Sports community to support our team New Salamis.

New Salamis are on route to Selhurst Park the home of Premier League club Crystal Palace this Sunday April the 17th 2016 for the top trophy of Sunday football the FA Sunday Cup.

The FA Sunday Cup Final Barnes FC v New Salamis is to take place this Sunday April the 17th 2016 2pm at Crystal Palace FC at Selhurst Park, Whitehorse Lane, London SE25 6PU.

Over a hundred of the top clubs in England took part in this prestigious cup for season 2015/16.

Barnes AFC from Eltham impressed in seeing off Campfield, from Liverpool, 3-1 in the semi-finals, while New Salamis brushed aside Birmingham team OJM 3-0.

Crystal Palace chief executive Phil Alexander is delighted to provide Selhurst Park as a venue.

He said: "We are delighted to be hosting The Final at Selhurst Park and we look forward to the event being a huge success."

Dave Robinson, Chairman of The FA Sunday Cup committee, added: “Selhurst Park is a magnificent stadium and we’re thrilled that Crystal Palace FC has agreed to host this Final’

Over fifty people will be travelling from Cyprus to show their support which only strengthens our affiliation with them. We would also like to invite anybody in the community wanting to attend this show piece in what will no doubt be a great occasion for not only New Salamis but everyone connected to KOPA and the community.

Coaches have been arranged to leave the Cypriot community centre in Wood Green at 11am for all those needing transportation to and from the game.
