Maronites 4 Cetinkaya Cinar 2

Cetinkaya Cinar's squad was not recognisable from last week's selection. Nevertheless that was no excuse as Maronites took full advantage and well deserved the win.

Maronites took the lead on 36 minutes an unstoppable 30 yard drive from Harry Elia. Cinar immediately replied with a stunning volley by Salih Karakis for 1-1.

Maronites took the lead on 51 minutes as their striker Lewis Barclay went past 2 Cinar defenders with his shot beating Remzi at the near post. Once again Cinar replied immediately, a great move down the right finding Salih who turned the defender and laying his pass to Erkin(Rio) Enver, who slotted his shot home.  With 16 minutes remaining Maronites caught Cinar on the break and made it 3-2 with a goal from Andy Vazanias .  On 80 minutes Cinar were once again caught on the break and the striker Andy Vazanias scored his second coolly dinking the ball over Remzi for 4-2 and a great win. Early days but not the start Cinar were expecting. But Maronites are looking good.

Asha 2 Komi Kebir 3

Asha  FC went i to the game a little complacent and within 4 minutes were 1-0 down to an impresive Komi Kebir who have now made it two wins out of two. Komi took the lead in the tenth minute when a Theo Vassiliou corner was headed in by Sami Menari.

Asha were soon on level terms as good build up play on their right was finished off with a smart finish from Chris Spyrou.

Asha were on top and Ari in Komi's goal made two fantastic saves to keep his team in the game. It was Komi who re took the lead when they were awarded a penalty after new signing Argyris Christofi was tripped in the box. Theo Vassiliou stepped up and scored to make it 2-1.

Asha continued to play impressive football and were awarded a penalty which new signing Adem Ali cooly slotted home for the equaliser. In the second half both teams were looking for the winner and with about 3 minutes from the end and with the final kick of the game managed to slot the ball into the net and come away with 3 points.

There were fewer chances in a very tight second half and a point each looked a fair result untill in the last minute Theo Vassiliou who had a hand in all three of his side's goals put Kyri Christofi through and he made no mistake handing all three points to Komi.
